Grace and peace to you, beloved in Christ!
It is with great joy that I welcome you today in the powerful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As we gather in worship and fellowship, we stand together under the banner of a promise that still echoes through the ages – the promise of power, purpose, and presence.
In Acts 1:8, Jesus declared:
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and the to the ends of the earth.”
This verse is not just a historic moment; it is a divine mandate – a call that birthed a movement which no force on earth could silence. From a small group of believers in an upper room to a global family of faith; the Church of Jesus Christ has proven to be unstoppable – not by human Strength, but by the Spirit’s power.
Today, as we reflect on what it means to be part of this unstoppable Church, may we be stirred with fresh boldness, deepened in our faith, and recommitted to the mission entrusted to us. Let us move forward with the confidence that the same Spirit that empowered the early Church is alive in us today.
Welcome once again and may this service ignite a fire in your heart that carries the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
